Trash Pickup/Recycling

Payment Reminder

One payment of $180.00 is due by June 30th. Late payments are assessed a late fee of $1.00 per month retroactive to January 1 ($12.00 for the year). If you have not paid by September 30th, $192.00 will be a special assessment on your tax statement. A notice was included with residential tax statements for the year. You may mail your payment to the Town Hall or drop it off in our convenient drop slot by entry door.

Please recycle - It helps all of us!

Materials must be prepared properly or they could contaminate other recyclable items. If contamination occurs due to improperly prepared materials, the entire load of recyclable material may have to be land filled. Although land filling of recyclable is a very rare occurrence, increased costs for recycling often occur due to contamination. Please keep the materials clean. Follow the preparation requirements carefully. If you have a question, call Waste Management or the Douglas County Recycling Coordinator at 394-0567.

Dog Ordinance and Licenses

Dog licenses are required by the Town of Superior and Douglas County. An application was included with your tax statement. Licenses must be purchased by March 30. Current fees are $10.00 for Spayed or Neutered and $15.00 for Male or Female dog. A rabies certificate must be included with your application. It will be returned with your license tag. Please include a stamped self addressed envelope with your payment.

The Town Board receives many complaints regarding dogs running loose. Our Town Constable, Charles Anderson will be working closely with the Douglas County Sheriff's Department in order to take action when a dog is reported. Charles may be contacted at 218-393-1749 if you wish to make a report.
